Sequence 1 - Beginners/Easy on the Arms

Sequence 1 offers four levels of classes with separate sets of movements in levels 2, 3, & 4. For those needing to establish solid foundations before moving on to the more challenging sequences. Those new to yoga or even those who have practiced for some time can benefit from these classes and the foundational principles they introduce. This series is also much kinder on the arms than most so is great to come back to if suffering any tension in the arms at any point.

Sequence 1 - Beginners/Easy on the Arms
  • Sequence 1 - Level 1

    This class is the easiest class on the arms. It introduces the principles of the Potential for Injury and Individual Differences. It's a great option to come back to if you are suffering any tension in the arms, shoulders or neck.

  • Sequence 1 - Level 2

    This class is much the same as Sequence 1 - Level 1, but it adds in some more arm movement, so if it feels good to you then don't continue with Level 1. It's still a great option if you are suffering tension in the arms, neck or shoulders as there is still very little weight bearing on the arms.

  • Sequence 1 - Level 3

    Sequence 1 - Level 3 introduces the principles of the spine being the centre of your practice and breath being the predominator.   • Sequence 1 - Level 4

    You can alternate this class with Sequence 1 - Levels 2 & 3. The principles introduced are Function Over Form and the Path of Progression.   • Sequence 1 - Short Level 1

    Our shortened version of Sequence 1 - Level 1. While this isn't the full class, it still includes what you need to restore some balance to the body it's a great option if you're short on time or don't feel up to some of the stronger movements in this sequence.
